This pivotal role will underpin the brand's continued success as they navigate this dynamic phase of their development. We’re seeking a Head of Ecommerce (Senior Ecommerce Manager) to oversee trading, digital marketing, and analytics, leading a small but dedicated in-house team and leveraging an extensive budget and agency resources.
responsibilities:
- Trading: Manage day-to-day operations of the website to maximize customer experience and drive sales.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to enhance website performance and customer engagement.
- Data Analysis:Analyze performance against KPIs, present insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and make data-driven recommendations.
- Agency Management: Oversee digital marketing agencies across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates, email marketing, and social media.
- Website Optimization: Collaborate with in-house developers to enhance website speed, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI).
- Audience Development: Identify and cultivate new audiences to expand market reach.
- Brand Awareness: Partner with the marketing team to boost brand awareness, traffic quality, and customer acquisition.
- Performance Optimization: Improve acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies for local audiences in the UK, North America, and Europe.
- Trend Discovery: Stay ahead of industry trends to drive continuous website performance improvements.
- Content Management: Oversee website uploads and landing page development.
- Team Management: Manage the Community Manager to ensure targets are met and roles are executed efficiently.
ideal knowledge, skills and experience
- Digital Marketing: Deep knowledge of PPC, SEO, social media, display advertising, and affiliate channels.
- Platform Experience: Expertise in Shopify+ and email platform Klaviyo (essential)
- UX/UI Understanding: Excellent grasp of UX, customer flow, and web analysis.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, and sales journey optimisation.
- Data Enthusiast: A passion for data, with meticulous attention to detail.
