With a small head office in Devon and a satellite office in Bristol they have a small and dedicated team and family office environment. Hybrid working options are available for exceptional candidates.

The Founder is planning for the future and as such, has created a brand new Head of Finance / FD opportunity for an exceptional and driven individual to create an impact on the company’s financial structure, systems and processes - to underpin and support strategic growth.

This is a chance for an ambitious individual to really forge your own path, heading up and creating a finance department to support the business needs.

Job Purpose:

The Head of Finance / FD will play a pivotal role in the strategic and financial management of the Group.

• Primarily office-based role with the opportunity to build own team and manage own workload.
• Need an ability to self-motivate / self-start.
• Work closely and build the trust of the major shareholder, taking full ownership of the finance function.
• Need to select a new software platform and insource the preparation of accounts, providing useful management information.
• In time, build a relationship with third party debt providers to fund expansion.
• Create a suite of financial reporting information that’s useful for management information and business expansion.
