Job Description :

This is a new role, taking on responsibility for, among other things, financial control, review and deployment of strategic financial systems, financial and corporate governance, management of corporate financial relationships, preparation for corporate transaction.

Description

  • This will include responsibility for all key financial controls including general ledger, payments, banking, payroll, taxation and the development and implementation of controls around revenue, revenue-related balance sheet accounts and costs.
  • With the growth of transaction volumes - revenues and expenses - this is the time for a review of supporting processes and systems with a view to achieving greater efficiency and more robust control.
  • The role will play a key role in wider corporate governance and risk control .The role will include the development and an on-going stewardship of the risk register and its presentation to the board, as well as the management of the company's insurance arrangements.
  • The role with be responsible for managing the relationship with the company's auditors, bankers, insurers and lenders. It will also have responsibility for ensuring that the business is prepared for a financial due diligence process, for working with corporate finance advisors and for maximising company value within the scope of a finance role.

The position reports into a CFO / main board director and itself will have two direct reports

Profile

  • Managing a finance team.
  • At least 10 years experience in finance and a simialr role
  • ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Managing relationships with high-level third parties.
  • Preparing for and/or going through a due diligence process.
  • Review and successful implementation of new or improved finance systems.

Job Offer

£80,000 - £90,000 + Bonus

Salary : 80000 - 90000
