Job Location : Slough, UK
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Finance Operations to join our dynamic team and lead the financial management of our school. This is a key role that will support our growth and ensure robust financial governance. Working closely with the Executive Head, the successful candidate will:
1. Develop and implement the school's financial strategy in alignment with overall school goal
2. Prepare for termly audits
3. Manage payroll and pensions
4. Line manage two finance officers
5. Report to governors on the use of school funds
6. Reconcile all payments to Suppliers & Ad-Hoc
7. Cash Flow - Weekly
8. Management Accounts – Monthly
9. Oversee some key functions within the school as required

Qualifications & Person Specifications:
· The candidate should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
· Sound finance experience working with an Academy currently or within the past 5 years
· Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards within education.
· Ability to Line Manage the finance team members
· Good knowledge of MS excel and Sage.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to manage a high work load and meet deadlines
· Ability to produce monthly management accounts, termly reports to governors and other statutory agencies.
· The post calls for someone who is energetic, self-motivated and is used to working on their own initiative and able to multi task and prioritise appropriately.
Salary : 50000 - 70000
