Head of Finance - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the financial strategy, managing the finance team, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial insight and guidance. This role will ensure that the company remains financially healthy, supports the business in achieving its goals, and meets statutory and regulatory requirements.

Location: Bristol

Hybrid: 2/3 days onsite

Duration: 4 - 6 Months

Rate: £400 - £460pd (Via Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities;

• Lead the finance team in producing monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Prepare financial information for Senior Leadership Team approval and support the creation of the annual budget.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions and monitor commercial performance, including KPIs and budget tracking.
• Develop and maintain finance policies and ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements.
• Oversee daily finance operations, including payments, invoices, and payroll, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with the Senior Project Manager to forecast and report project costs.

• Partner with the commercial team on costing and pricing to ensure project margins
• Provide financial advice and support across the organisation
