In this influential role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, shape strategic direction, and champion the organisation's ambitions.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with growth objectives, supporting long-term planning and resource allocation
• Oversee accurate, timely financial reporting, delivering insights that influence strategic decisions and enhance performance
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring effective variance analysis and predictive accuracy
• Work across departments to identify and implement strategies for operational improvement and increased profitability
• Maintain a keen focus on cash flow and working capital strategies, securing financial stability and liquidity
• Establish robust risk management practices and ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Nurture a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
• Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing critical financial insights and support for negotiations
• Evaluate current financial systems, implement new technologies, and streamline processes to boost efficiency

Head of FinanceCandidate Profile

• Expertise in financial principles, regulatory standards, and advanced financial modelling
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Capable of anticipating financial trends and implementing proactive strategies
• Strong presentation skills, adept at influencing and engaging stakeholders
• Ideally experienced in recurring payments or similar sectors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's/MBA preferred
• Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 10+ years' finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership role
• Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel
