Head of Finance - BTG Recruitment : Job Details

A rapidly growing SME with an inspirational Managing Director, based in Derby, is actively seeking a motivated individual to join their team as the Head of Finance. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic input to decision-making processes, and spearheading the company's ongoing expansion efforts.Key Responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Cashflow management
• Prepare year-end accounts
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Monitor WIP accounts and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
• Oversee CIS compliance and reporting.
• Manage contract costing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project budgets.
• Lead project accounting activities, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified/QBE/Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role
• Experience in producing statutory accounts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
