Head of Finance - Partner Financial : Job Details

Partner Financial are working with a PE backed technology business looking for a Head of Finance, to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative organisation, with a strong focus on cutting-edge solutions and long-term growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Finance will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation’s financial integrity while driving strategic insights to support decision-making. This broad role will offer the successful candidate the chance to lead a high-performing team and make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving business

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Overseeing and refining financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Managing cashflow and working capital, providing accurate and actionable reporting to support business operations.
• Driving the budgeting and forecasting process, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Developing and implementing enhanced financial systems and reporting tools to support scalability and business growth.
• Providing FP&A support, including scenario modelling, KPI development, and strategic analysis to inform decision-making.
• Partnering with the CFO to provide insights and recommendations to the board and investors.

The Ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), ideally with experience in a PE-backed environment.
• Experienced in the technology or SaaS sector, with a strong understanding of subscription-based business models.
• Adept at balancing detailed financial controls with forward-looking analysis and strategic insight.
• An excellent leader with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver with precision in a fast-paced environment.
