HEAD OF FINANCE - HIGH GROWTH BUSINESS

BASED IN LUTON - £65,000p/a + bonus (OTE £80,000-£85,000p/a)

Our client is a dynamic , industry disruptor who are based in Luton and looking for a Head of Finance as they enter another exciting year of growth.

The company are a SME with over 60 members of staff and having recently taken the finance function back in house from an outsourced firm are looking for a highly commercial and entrepreneurial candidate to lead their finance function.

The role will be a critical appointment and involve the right person driving the business with data and commentary to advise the board and line managers of improvements, efficiency, indirect impacts on revenue as well as overseeing the daily, monthly and annual accounting requirements.

The main duties:

• Supporting on the annual and quarterly planning/forecasting process;
• Month end process streamlining
• Monthly management accounts & balance sheet reconciliations Vs Budget & VsFC
• Create management accounts and KPI Pack with commentary.
• Ownership of daily/weekly reporting on sales, margin and key KPI’s
• Ensure accounting and bookkeeping partners are delivering in accordance with expectation
• Research and propose process improvements for accounting & bookkeeping
• Management of taxation including insurance taxes, VAT and business taxes, together with company secretarial issues, liaising with external advisers and accountants where necessary
• Pricing management
• Pre and post analysis of online promotions to ensure financially viable
