Head of Finance - In2 Consult : Job Details

Location: OxfordDepartment: FinanceSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum

The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strategic growth. This role involves financial planning, risk management, budgeting, and decision-making support for senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and the ability to drive business performance through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to support long-term growth.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and present financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven finance experience at a managerial level, preferably within a hospitality business or similar. 
• Proven technical skills with a strong understanding of best practice in the realm of financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and coming front of house to talk to Members.
• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Excellent time-management skills; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
