Head of Finance - MF RECRUITMENT LIMITED : Job Details

Reporting to the CEO of this specialist lending business, as Head of Finance you will lead the finance function across all areas of accounting, reporting, FP&A and IR and support further fundraising activities. Immediate/quick start required.

• Leading on annual budgeting, 3-year financial plan and forecasting
• Owning the business model and running scenarios to aid decision making
• Supporting further funding rounds and investor presentations
• Loan portfolio reporting and analysis and really telling the story behind the KPI’s and numbers
• Managing the credit lines with investors/institutional lenders
• Driving value added MI
• Preparing management accounts, board and investor packs
• Ensuring compliance with all VAT/Tax
• Running bi-monthly pay runs
• Ensuring a strong financial control environment
• Financial covenant reporting to the bank lender
• Preparing final year accounts and leading the external audit process

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post qualified experience with experience working within the lending industry (business or consumer) and exposure to working in a start-up or scale-up fintech lender. You will be competent at building financial models . You do need to be flexible and happy to be in the 'weeds’ and yet also able to operate strategically.This is a very tech focused business, offers 3 days office and 2 days working from home. As the business grows this will allow development to progress to FD/CFO.
