Head of Finance

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Finance to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable and dynamic award winning luxury travel organisation known for delivering exceptional experiences. Reporting to the Group CFO/CEO, the role focuses on providing robust financial leadership and ensuring the financial health of the organisation.

What Will I Be Doing?

As the Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing budgets, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Capital Expenditure, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Delivering timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards set by bodies such as the CAA and ABTA.
  • Overseeing the production of Statutory Accounts and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Implementing currency hedging strategies and managing surplus cash strategies as directed.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with FX partners and credit card merchant providers.
  • Managing taxation, audits, and statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, and National Insurance.
  • Liaising with pension scheme administrators and ensuring smooth payroll processes.
  • Overseeing business insurance policies and negotiating renewals.
  • Managing IT and telecom support contracts in collaboration with external providers.

What Experience Do I Need?

  • ACCA, CIMA, or a similar accounting qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in management and financial accounts.
  • Knowledge of tour operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in a finance role within a multi-national or multi-currency environment.
  • Advanced IT skills and familiarity with modern financial technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, budgetary, and forecasting abilities.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset, with strong organizational and communication skills.

What Else Do I Need to Know?

Location: 2 days in their incredible offices in SW London - 3 days from home.

Salary & Benefits: Salary up to £70k plus bonus
