Job Description:
In this pivotal role, you will lead the FP&A function, providing crucial financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the financial strategy and support decision-making processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the FP&A team, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Develop and implement robust financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to the executive team and board of directors.
- Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Key Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a senior FP&A role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
