We are delighted to be representing a fantastic not-for-profit organisation in bringing to market a rare Head of Individual Giving role based in Mid Kent.

The Head of Individual Giving in this role will be instrumental in delivering ambitious plans to grow the individual giving programme. It will perfectly suit someone who can lead on the strategic development and management of all individual giving income streams.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:

• Take the lead in analysing supporter data, mapping out supporter journeys, segmenting audiences effectively, and identifying new opportunities within the database.
• Create initiatives, campaigns, and appeals that drive consistent, year-on-year growth in supporter engagement and contributions.
• Track market trends, opportunities, and significant dates to pinpoint the best acquisition strategies, campaigns, and timing.
• Establish and pursue growth targets across multiple unrestricted income streams.
• Assist in budget preparation and oversight, ensuring that all planned activities are financially sound and cost-effective.
• Plan and direct both online and offline acquisition activities, meeting targets while continuously monitoring campaigns for improvements.
• Create evidence-based individual giving strategies designed for long-term success, suitable for presentation at the Board level.
• Lead legacy marketing efforts, significantly increasing income in the medium term while building a robust legacy pipeline.
• Monitor supporter engagement and retention, maintaining a high standard of service, gaining deep insights into our supporters, and ensuring precise record-keeping.
• Lead fundraising events.
• Manage the Individual Giving Manager and Senior Officer.

The successful candidate for this role will have/be:

• Strong working experience on delivery individual giving targets
• Skilled in adapting strategies to ensure campaign success.
• Proven ability to meet donor acquisition goals. Successfully achieved targets for acquiring new donors.
• Demonstrated success in crafting creative and persuasive donor appeals.
• Significant experience in launching and managing programs that enhance donor engagement and retention.
