My client is a highly successful, extremely adaptable, fast growing manufacturing business based near Leeds.
They have been manufacturing for nearly 80 years and in that time have moved sites to accommodate growth, expanded product ranges to keep up with the market trends and recruited many talented individuals to continue pushing the business forward.
To ensure continue success, my client is now looking for a Head of Installations to run the delivery and installation of their exceptional product range, to several loyal customers across the UK. This role will play a pivotal part in the company's ambitious growth plans both for 2025, and beyond.
Description
- Lead a team of high performing Project Managers across the UK on all installation projects for the business
- Utilising data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and creating action plans at local and regional levels to enact such improvements
- Main focuses will be on right first time, average time to install, and daily sign offs
- Maintaining current service levels with regards to delivery metrics, finding ways to incrementally improve these to become market leading in the sector
- Work with colleagues in manufacturing, supply chain and distribution to effectively reduce the volume of damaged products received at site for installation
- Liaising with distribution partners, customer service teams and regional customers to develop relationships and grow opportunity for further revenue streams
- Develop the team of Project Managers and Regional Managers to provide succession planning, ahead of future growth plans
Profile
The successful Head of Installations will:
- Be a strong operational manager with the ability to create and implement relevant KPIs, hold the team to account, and do so remotely when not on site
- Customer minded, with a commercial understanding and a focus on reducing costs/improving efficiencies
- Ability to react quickly and make clear decisions through thorough problem solving
- Proven experience of managing complex operations, at pace with a high volume, whilst also managing teams who are spread geographically
- Clear communications skills are a must
- Data driven mindset but with a hands on, visible approach
Having experience in an industry similar to installations, such as large-scale logistics, operations or distribution would be very advantageous
