Head of Investment Platforms

We have partnered with a leading global fund manager who require a Head of Investment Platforms to join their growing UK technology team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal to the strategic growth plans across EMEA and will be a central figure in the wider technology leadership function. The role will focus on the management of investment platform enhancements and upgrades, implementation of new technology and delivery of projects.

You will have several direct reports, initially application support and business analysts but eventually project and programme managers, meaning team leadership experience is desired.

Skills and experience:

• extensive asset management technology support experience.
• have worked on/with investment platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin or Bloomberg EMS.
• good understanding of front, middle and back office processes.
• people management - high performance, driving cultural change.
• excellent relationship management skills, both internally (users) and externally (vendors).
• experience managing projects and workstreams.
• adaptable and a desire to be part of a growing team.
