Head of Maintenance

Venn Group is supporting a school in Essex to recruit for a Head of Maintenance to lead their technicians and support the efficient running of the site.

Hourly rate: £24 through an umbrella company, salary £50k - £55k per annum

Duration: temp to perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Location: Essex

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The daily management of maintenance teams, ensuring PPM schedule is clearly set out
• Ensuring reactive maintenance is dealt with efficiently, prioritised correctly
• Budget management for the department
• Ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met and exceeded
• Overseeing external contractors when required
• Managing redecoration and refurbishment works
• Updating and maintaining the CAFM system

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience managing maintenance teams
• Enhanced DBS
• Education experience is ideal
