Head of Manufacturing - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a global manufacturing company seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Manufacturing to join the team near Leeds. 

The Head of Manufacturing will be a proactive and progressive member of the Group’s Senior Operations Management Team, overseeing all manufacturing operations, and leading manufacturing through a planned site expansion project.

Responsibilities of the Head of Manufacturing will include:

• Define and implement site improvement plans
• Develop and deliver the site’s Annual Operating budget
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals
• Manage and supervise the manufacturing team to achieve production targets
• Establish a Quality Right-First-Time culture 
• Optimise production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Lead efforts in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices

We are keen to speak with Head of Manufacturing/ Senior Operations with the following:

• Proven experience in a senior manufacturing role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with Warehousing, Production Planning, Logistics Planning and Maintenance operations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
