Head of Operations - Pod Talent : Job Details

Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for innovative, branded products? With ambitious growth plans, they are currently looking for a Head of Operations to take the reins in managing their supply chain and leading operations at their brand-new manufacturing site based in West Sussex (working from the site 5 days a week).

About the role:

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including 3rd party contractor management, ensuring seamless delivery across all channels.
• Lead and inspire a team of 3 direct reports and a production team of 20, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Drive operational excellence at the new manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Bring expertise in manufacturing and production planning to support scaling of the supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet demand, improve processes, and manage resources effectively.

About you:

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a strong track record in manufacturing or production operations and experience in the snacking or food manufacturing sector. A background in managing a hybrid model of in-house manufacturing and third-party contractors will set you up for success. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the strategic and tactical skills to take the business operations to the next level.
