Head of Operations - rthirteen recruitment : Job Details

R13 are supporting a fantastic company, who are looking to recruit a Head of Operations. This is a core role within the business, newly created, focusing on the operational strategy, ensuring smooth running of teams across the UK and providing clear direction towards the companies ongoing growth and development.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Norwich and is working 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is c£70,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

• Identifying areas for improvement within business strategy, focusing on operational needs.
• Development of operational processes, including the formalisation and recording of those.
• Ownership, overseeing and running of business improvement projects.
• Agreeing and overseeing contractual obligations both with clients and providers.
• Managing and enhancing the operational function of the business.
• Leading your team, supporting their development and providing mentorship.
• Managing resources effectively to ensure these are utilised optimally.
• Analysing data, identifying trends and making decisions to drive operational efficiency.
• Increasing customer satisfaction.

You will have/be

• Solid experience as an Operations Manager or Head of Operations.
• Success in delivering a cross section of operationally led business improvement projects.
• Development of process to create a more cohesive and lean business approach.
• Strong commercial awareness, including understand and development of contracts / SLA’s / frameworks and procurement agreements.
• Track record of successfully leading teams, providing clear direction and mentorship.
• Strong communication at all levels, as well as work closely with multiple internal and external teams/stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy and diverse workload.
• Natural problem solver and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop strong solutions.
• Procedure driven, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Desirable:

• Experience managing multiple operational sites across a large geographical area.
