We are looking for an experienced Head of QA to oversee and elevate the quality processes for a fast-growing FinTech company. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you will manage a team of 6 offshore testers (4 manual, 2 automation) and ensure the quality of every release. You will have the autonomy to refine QA strategies, sign off on releases, and provide quick-turnaround hot fixes, all while collaborating with key stakeholders across engineering, product, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a global QA team (manual and automation testers), ensuring high-quality standards for all releases.

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current QA processes and present actionable suggestions for improvement.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.

• Sign off on all product releases and manage the delivery of critical hot fixes.

• Spearhead the introduction of Playwright, transitioning the team from Selenium to this cutting-edge tool.

• Maintain strong oversight of the offshore team, confidently pushing back and providing feedback when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience in automation testing, with hands-on expertise in tools like Selenium (and ideally Playwright).

• Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing and mentoring remote/offshore teams.

• Confidence to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across various departments.
