Head of Repairs - James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) : Job Details

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Head of Repairs to join their growing team on an interim basis.

Our client is proud provider of 8,000 sustainable and affordable homes in the Salford area, and have invested over £75m into the community since 2015.

This is an interim position with a day rate of circa £450 a day via an Umbrella Company and the client is looking to get started.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Taking responsibility for day-to-day strategic management of a Repairs and Maintenance team, including a DLO
• Directly line managing two Repairs Managers and a planning team
• Overseeing the full scope of damp, mould and disrepair
• Providing strategic oversight as the organisation implement a new repairs strategy
• Managing the repairs and maintenance budget, including internal recruitment and outsourcing works to third party contractors
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to, both by contractors and internal DLO
• Analysing data to further inform and improve the existing repairs service

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing
• Experience strategically delivering Social Housing repairs
• Experience with disrepair and damp, mould, and condensation
