Working as a key part of the marketing team and sitting on the Residential Divisional Board, the Head of Residential Marketing will work closely with Heads of departments and all members of the wider MCBD team to drive the development of the firm’s residential marketing strategy.With 33 offices across the UK including nine in London and a global network through its exclusive affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, Carter Jonas goes above and beyond local estate agency. Our 25 strong team provides national and local MCBD support to Carter Jonas - one of the most well-regarded names in the property business. The team is mainly based in the firm’s head office in London at the top of New Bond Street at One Chapel Place. - Business planning and marketing strategy - work with members of the Residential Board to draft the divisional business plan and set the strategic priorities for the division. Draft the annual marketing strategy and raise awareness of the Carter Jonas brand, driving leads and ultimately instructions for the residential sales, lettings, property management, new homes and living sectors teams.
- Team Management - lead, inspire and motivate the residential marketing manager and marketing executive, responsible for executing the strategy. Act as a key member of the wider MCBD leadership group, supporting the MCBD director in considering key developments for the function and firm.
- Pitching to win - work in tandem with other members of the Residential division on key pitches for major new high-value instructions and write dedicated marketing strategies for the delivery of this work.
- Campaigns and events - direct the creative process and manage the execution of fully integrated major national brand and lead generation campaigns and events with a clear aim of delivering ROI from offline and online channels.
- Online marketing focus - represent the residential team on the development of our website improvement project, including product development, user experience (UX) design oversight, content migration and site architecture creation.
- Internal initiatives - work with the Residential Divisional Board on key internal initiatives e.g. work to create a compelling and creative agenda for divisional annual meetings and quarterly updates.
- Budgeting - budget planning, management and forecasting of all residential budget lines. Monitor objectives and performance, providing monthly updates to leadership.
- Supplier management - management of multiple agencies including photographers, brochure production signage and hoarding companies, printers, property search portals (including Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket), copywriters, canvassing and data companies, artwork solutions for office fronts, and publications and media agencies.
What will it take to be successful?You will be a self-starter, with a wealth of marketing B2C and B2B experience ideally within a professional services firm, estate agency or real estate company. You will have a strong track record in leading marketing campaigns and projects as well as managing multiple agencies. You will have excellent knowledge of brand management and follow a creative and proactive approach to projects. It is key that this individual can multitask and oversee complex projects as well as manage key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
