  • Sales Leadership: Grow profitable revenue year on year, ensuring the creation and maintenance of a sales structure that aligns with Teacrate’s strategy.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies and annual plans for key sectors, ensuring continuous growth in sales performance.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team using metrics, KPIs, training, and performance management techniques to drive results.
  • Account Management: Own and implement Account Management Plans, ensuring maximum share of wallet and excellent customer retention.
  • Bid Management: Lead large bids, fostering relationships and ensuring growth opportunities are maximized.
  • Cross-sell & Upsell: Identify and implement cross-sell and upsell activities within the business and across our wider portfolio.
  • Sales Support: Oversee effective sales support functions, including bid management, telesales, customer service, and sales administration.
  • Client Retention: Lead customer retention initiatives, ensuring excellent account management and issue resolution.
  • Forecasting & Pricing: Provide accurate sales forecasts and optimize pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
  • Product Development: Work with the team to review, develop, and introduce new products to the market.
  • Marketing & Digital: Collaborate with marketing to drive product marketing strategies and implement effective digital sales tactics.
  • Competitor Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of competitors, market trends, and industry challenges, using insights to refine strategy.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record of delivering successful sales strategies in a senior sales leadership role within the business services sector.
  • Significant experience in managing sales teams and driving growth using KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Strong background in leading bids, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing client relationships at a senior level.
  • Experience in developing and executing a commercial strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately price business opportunities.
  • A deep understanding of customer satisfaction metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), and a passion for driving customer-first strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Profitable sales growth (both revenue and gross margin)
  • Customer retention rates and overall satisfaction (NPS)
  • Commercially appropriate pricing strategies
  • Signed commercial contracts that mitigate risk and maximize revenue
