Assistant Headteacher - Primary
Milk Education are recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher for the primary sight of an independent SEMH school located in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is a non-teaching, full-time role beginning as soon as possible! Assistant Headteacher Role & Responsibilities:
? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
? Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
? Develop and implement educational policies and programmes that promote the school's mission and values
? Ensure all safeguarding procedure and policies are adhered to
? Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff
? Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement
? Oversee CPD and induction for your team and be expected to lead whole staff and subject meetings.
? Other responsibilities will include pastoral care and behaviour management, curriculum forward planning, timetable construction, data analysis and development, assessment, recording and reporting.
? Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community
? Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards
Assistant Headteacher Non-negotiables:
? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and be aspiring to undertake the NPQH.
? Degree Qualified in Education or relevant subject.
? Must have a passion for education, with at least 5 years experience teaching
? Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
? Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
