About us

Ox Mountain Limited (OXMT) was incorporated in the UK in 2015 and has offices in London, Perth & Sydney. Our main SaaS product IronMan®, is disrupting the field of asset management with an exciting roadmap ahead, applying machine learning & automation to transform existing maintenance data into value-add insights.

We have at eam of 30 high-performing software, machine learning and domain engineers that work collaboratively to innovate and develop our product.

About you

You are an experienced software development leader, and at heart you love technology and are excited by the challenge of being a market disruptor. As an excellent facilitator, you get the most out of the people around you to solve complex problems, with a customer-centric view. You are curious, enjoy continuous learning and improvement.

- +5 years as a full stack developer.

- Demonstrated success in leading teams.

- Able to provide broad and detailed technical development support.

- Work to people’s strengths and develop individuals in identifiable areas.

- Proven experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, from product owners to clients.

- Proficient with the following technologies: Java, Spring, JavaScript, Elasticsearch, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), ML, GitHub, Jenkins, Linux.

- Python exposure is desirable.

- Enjoy getting "on the tools" when you can, but not at the expense of the collective delivery of the team.

Responsibilities

The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and may include international travel as required.

- Responsible for leading high-performing international software development team.

- Ownership of OXMT’s ISO 27001 certification, adapting to changes in security landscape and continuously improve the company’s security posture.

- Share responsibility of OXMT’s IT systems (e.g. Office 365, GitHub, Atlassian, AWS).

- Foster an open, high-performance culture built on respect and trust.

- Identify, engage and manage 3rd party suppliers.

- Investigate and adopt new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the company’s products and solution delivery.

- Contribute to defining the roadmap and managing its delivery.

- Support Agile development, empowering the team and establishing effective feedback cycles.

- Improve ways of working and overall outputs of the software

- Deliver software engineering as required, especially for prototyping.
