HEAD OF SPECIALIST LENDING

UP TO £150,000 + STRONG BONUS AND PENSION

A bank in the UK is looking to add a hardworking, driven Head of Specialist Lending to their Birmingham team. The role will involve working closely with different teams across the business and owning the product strategy for Specialist Lending.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

• Owning Product strategy and changes across brands and propositions within Specialist Lending, as appropriate.
• Proposing innovative ways of moving forward into new markets with high levels of penetration and commercial success.
• Design and implementation of best-in-class journeys.
• Ongoing management and development for application channels for all brands in specialist lending.
• Product strategy, which may include but not limited to pricing, features changes and acquisition channel management, after gaining relevant stakeholder approval within the specialist lending remit.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Extensive knowledge of the general mortgage and specialist lending market
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of successful business case developments
• Experience in this product risk environment
• Strong analytical ability for customer and competitor insights
