We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Training & Competence (T&C) and Advice Quality to lead a vital function in our clients award-winning firm.

As Head of T&C and Advice Quality, you will be a key member of their leadership team, responsible for developing, delivering and continuously improving their T&C scheme and advice quality framework. You will ensure all advisers are fully supported, competent, and consistently delivering advice aligned with our values, regulatory expectations, and client-first ethos.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the firm’s T&C scheme, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and internal standards
• Oversee and evolve the advice quality framework, with robust audit and feedback mechanisms
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, coaching and supporting advisers and managers
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Operations to embed high standards and governance
• Provide strategic insight and reporting to the Board on adviser performance and development
• Lead and develop a high-performing QA and T&C team

Do you have the following to apply?

• Proven experience in a senior T&C or advice quality leadership role within financial advice/wealth management
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum); Level 6 or Chartered status desirable
• Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a passion for developing people
