Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Transactional Finance to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of our transactional finance operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a senior leadership role that requires strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Transactional Finance:

• Lead and manage the growing transactional finance team (currently 20 heads), including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline transactional processes, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports related to transactional finance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and support business objectives.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on matters related to transactional finance.
• Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Shared Services and the EU Finance Director, to align transactional finance strategies with overall business goals.
• Act as a key liaison between the transactional finance team and senior leadership to ensure transparency and effective communication.

Qualifications for the Head of Transactional Finance:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role looking after teams of 10+
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and developing finance teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
