Birchgrove Primary School is a popular school in North Cardiff central to the vibrant communities of both Birchgrove and Heath. We have 367 children on roll, with 10% of our pupils being eligible for free school meals.

Our motto – “Where every child is a star”, which reflects the ethos of the school in celebrating the successes and differences of every pupil was highlighted in our recent Estyn report (May 2024).

The governing body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and inspirational leader to build upon existing achievements and lead the future development of the school.
