People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company, offering competitive rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
The starting pay for this role will be £12.30 per hour and the possibility of a permanent position will be guaranteed after completing 13 successful weeks.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00.

Day to Day Duties
Duties of the Health & Safety Advisor will include, but won't be limited to, the following:
- Review and update the company's health and safety policies on a regular basis
- Provide advice/guidance on all aspects of health and safety to ALL members of staff
- Monitor the safety of the company's operation by carrying out regular site inspections and safety audits of working practices
- Keeping up to date with new health and safety legislation
- Support HR (where appropriate) in relation to mental health and well-being of employees
- Any other reasonable tasks, as per Manager's request
Essential Skills
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following:
- NEBOSH certificate/qualification
- Strong understanding of health & safety codes and practices
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- A degree in safety management (or occupational health
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Training
- Full training on company policies and procedures provided by the client
