Health & Safety Advisor

• Reporting to: Careers and Employability Manager
• Salary: £30k-£34k
• Type: Full time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Worthing.

• Ensure work experience and placements meet safety standards for students around the Worthing area.
• Conduct health and safety risk assessments at employers' sites for student placements.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers to support student placements.

• Coordinate and complete health and safety assessments for all student placements.
• Address and resolve any health and safety issues with employers swiftly and professionally.
• Verify that employers have the required insurance and safety clearances before placements begin.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline student placement processes.
• Document and update all placement information accurately.
• Organize and manage visits to ensure assessments are conducted cost-effectively and on time.

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Have own transport and hold a full clean driving license
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently
• Proficiency in data entry and reporting for accurate record-keeping
• Right to work in the UK
