Senior Health and Safety Officer  This is a contractLocation: Portsmouth : You will be required to go to the offices 1 day per week and can work from home for the other 4 days a week .You will be required to attend sites to complete Health and Safety Checks in the Hampshire area , expenses will be paid however you will require a car to travel. Hours of work: 37 hours , 8-4 or 8am to 4.30pmAs discussed, below is a brief summary of the role and what I’m looking for.  Salary: £48000- £48750 per annum (pro rata)Dynamite Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor based in Portsmouth. This is temporary full-time role working 37 hours per week for 3 – 6 months with a combination of office work, visiting sites and homeworking.As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll be part of the Health & Safety team and be involved in supporting our Operations and Property Services teams. 

• You’ll help assure compliance with H&S legislation, company procedures and best practice.
• Conducting workplace inspections.
• Advising/ Report on how to be compliant with the relevant regulations.
• Conducting investigations into safety incidents.
• Implementing policies related to health and safety.

Requirements:

• As a minimum you’ll need to have NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent. 
• You’ll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from a previous Health and Safety role which will enable you to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. 
• A previous background in either property maintenance or construction and experience of working in housing is desired but not essential. 
• You’ll also need a full current driving licence with your own transport to be able to travel between sites around Hampshire’.
• Will be available asap and happy to support on a temporary basis.
