Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £12.60 - £13.68 per hour Enhancements

This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and help deliver care and support to people with a life limiting illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.   • 44% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays & weekday night duty (8pm to 6am) =  £17.21 - £18.68 per hour
  • 88% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Public Bank Holidays  = £22.47 - £24.38 per hour

What we are looking for:

• Relevant community experience
• Continued access to NHS Pension Scheme (subject to eligibility)
• S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable
• Emotional strength and the ability to work on your own are crucial, though we will of course provide excellent on-going training and support.
• Licence allowing you to drive in the UK with access to a vehicle that can be insured for business use are essential

With experience of End of Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
