Heating Design Engineer - Anderson Floor Warming & Renewables : Job Details

Anderson Floor Warming and Renewables is a leading underfloor heating and renewables contractor based in Glasgow. With over 25 years of experience, we provide innovative heating solutions for both domestic and commercial markets. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Heating Design Engineer to join our team in Paisley.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform heat loss calculations and design underfloor heating systems, radiator systems, ground & air source heat pump systems.
• Work closely with our AutoCAD technician, reviewing and issuing design drawings.
• Engage with clients during the design process and engineers during installation.
• Manage design amendments for as-fitted layouts post-installation.
• Estimate underfloor heating quantities and provide quotes.
• Conduct heat loss calculations and radiator sizing.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in heat loss calculations.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles.
• Excellent numeracy and computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of construction methods and material properties.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• A UK driving licence is desirable.
