Are you an experienced IT Support professional ready for a dynamic, short-term project?We're seeking skilled individuals to join a temporary project for our client in Wymbush, Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, office-based role requiring daily on-site presence.Project Overview:
- Duration: Approximately mid-April to July/early August.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, including weekends (shifts allocated in advance).
- Hours: 7-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
- Role: Providing remote technical support via phone and video to home-based end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional and client-focused technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and bespoke application issues.
- Provide clear, patient guidance to users of varying technical abilities.
- Accurately document support interactions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven IT support experience.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, hardware, and networking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows Explorer, Edge, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Quick Assist, Snipping Tool).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and 1 as part of a team.
- Experience with remote support tools.
- Ability to deal with difficult clients in a calm manner.
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
- Excellent time management.
