Location: Glenfield AreaPay Rate: £16.00 per hour (Day Shifts) | £18.00 per hour (Night Shifts)Working Hours:

• Day Shifts: 06:00 - 15:00 / 09:00 - 18:00
• Night Shifts: 18:00 - 03:00 / 21:00 - 06:00

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in the Glenfield area. The role involves a mix of self-loads, handballing, and collections, with responsibilities including the loading of pallets into the lorry directly from customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to carry out self-loads, handballing, and collections as required.
• Load and unload pallets and goods at customer locations, ensuring all items are handled with care.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with all legal requirements.
• Adhere to all driving regulations, including maintaining accurate records using your Tachograph Card.
• Provide excellent customer service during collections, representing the company professionally at all times.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Category C1 E License (HGV Class 1).
• Tachograph Card and CPC Card.
• No more than 6 points on your driving license.
• Experience in self-loading, handballing, and collections is preferred.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
