HGV Class 1 Driver - £17 - £20 per hour ONGOING!

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for 2 x Class 1 Driver (s) for our client in Coventry. They are a leading company within the distribution network and have a large fleet of 30+ lorries and are one of the UK's biggest retail brands supplying nationally all over the country.

A HGV Class 1 Driver is paid the following:

• £17ph for week days between 0600 - 2000 Monday to Sunday
• £20ph for night shifts between 2000 - 0600 Monday to Sunday
• £50 per shift BONUS for working Saturday and/or Sunday
• Guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift
• ONGOING work with a well-known company with outstanding reputation

**This is a cross over client, so the rate does change between these times**

**Candidates of Pure Staff DO NOT pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees. **

DAY Drivers - the job will entail up to 12-hour shifts, 3 to 6 drops per shift delivering to stores.

Usual start time will be between 02:00 and 04:00.

Shift pattern:

- Friday to Tuesday each week

Please note - nights out may be required on this contract (paid at £25 per night out)

Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle successfully but that can communicate well with the transport team to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed this includes a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

• HGV Class 1 Driver licence
• CPC Card
• Digital tachograph card
• Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD codes)
• 6 months experience is required due to insurance
