Class 1 Driver
Overtime: Enhanced rate
Contract: Permanent
Location: B46 1HQ
Available Shift: Mon - Fri, 50hrs/wk, 18:00 - 04:00
Mon - Fri, 50hrs/wk, 16:00 - 02:00
Mon - Fri, 60hrs/wk, 18:00 - 06:00

Main duties/responsibilities:
- Operating commercial vehicles
- Load and unload goods
- Making sure loads are safely secured
- Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
- Carrying out basic routine maintenance
- Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentation
- Following the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable
Technical Skills:
- A valid HGV license
- Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
- Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices
The successful candidate will:
- Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude
- Be flexible and reliable
- Minimum 1 year experience of driving C1
- Have great communication skills
- Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 26 weeks)
- Provide a full 5-year checkable history
- Hold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it)
- Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
