HGV Container Driver - Drivertemps : Job Details

Drivertemps are currently recruiting for experienced class 1 day container drivers for work in the Southampton area. Work will be regular throughout the winter.

• Driving duties will include container runs all over the country.
• Day shifts or tramping can be accommodated depending on your preference.
• £25 per night out.
• Morning starts.
• Regular and part time placements available.
• Weekend shifts available.
• Minimum 10 hours paid per shift, with paid breaks.
• £16.00-£18 per hour - Ltd company.
• PAYE and umbrella options also available.

Pay:

We are working with various companies in the Southampton area. Rates range from £16.00 to £18 per hour, all with minimum 10 hrs paid. No break deductions.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 1 year class 1 experience.
• Preferably 6 months container experience.
• Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
• TAC (terminal awareness card) for Southampton docks.
• Good communications skills.
• Over 25 for insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
