HGV Mechanic / Technician - The Recruitment Co : Job Details

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for HGV Mechanic / Technicians for a large waste management company based in Little Hulton, Worsley, M38.

Must be a HGV Mechanic/ Technician NOT A CAR/ LGV Mechanic/ Technician

· Must be a qualified HGV Mechanic/ Technician or be a time served HGV Mechanic/ Technician.

· Must have prior experience of working as a HGV Mechanic/ Technician - minimum of 1 year experience is required.

· Working at our fully equipped, spacious workshop at Little Hulton.

· May be required to attend roadside breakdowns - transport will be provided in this scenario.

· Predominantly carrying out 6 weekly inspections and MOT preparation on a range of HGVs (Skiploaders, Hookloaders & Bin Trucks). Truck Makes predominantly DAF & Mercedes.

· Required to carry out manual handling so must be physically fit enough to meet the demands of the role.

· Must be hardworking, reliable and flexible.

· Must be organised and self-motivated.

· Subject to a month trial period and if successful rate of pay will be reviewed to reflect individuals experience, skill set and commitment to role.

· Must hold a valid Cat B driving licence, a Cat C or Cat CE licence is desirable.

· Mon - Fri 08:00 - 18:00 and alternative Saturdays

· Pay rate negotiable during the interview , £14 - £18 per hour subject to expirience. Must hold a valid Cat B driving licence, and it would be desirable to have a Cat C or Cat CE licence.The Recruitment Co are an equal opportunities employerCPManchesterGS
