HGV Tanker Driver

Location: Worcester 

Duration: 6 months initally

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: £25.21 PAYE

Cryomed Van driver position is to provide timely delivery of products to our Air Products customers in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. Embracing Air Products core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. The role provides a front-line business-critical activity, being part of the Air Products team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.

This position is accountable for the following end results:

• Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
• Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from time-to-time.
• Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in-line with 'Dist Man Cryo Specific - working instructions' available via 'TDH app'.
• Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
• Other expected requirements in-line with Annex to Air Products CryoEase Services Standard Terms and Conditions of Employment for: Customer Service Operatives (CSOs) This Annex relates to the period from the 1st January 2017, available on request via NNC or Air Products management/HR.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Licence minimum category B (C1 preferred)
• Proven driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience operating the class of vehicle that will be operated at Air Products upon employment.
• Preferred but not a must - Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)
• Valid (in date) Drivers CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status (where applicable)
• Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
• Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
