Job Title: HGV TechnicianLocation: WandsworthJob Type: 6-Month ContractWorking Hours:Monday to Friday7:30 AM - 3:42 PM36 paid hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch break)Job Description:Shorterm Group is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Fitter to join our team in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This position involves working on both petrol and diesel HGVs, performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance to high standards.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance of petrol and diesel HGV fleet vehicles.* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.* Perform inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.* Collaborate with the team to ensure timely vehicle availability and operational efficiency.Skills & Qualifications:* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.* Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HGV maintenance and repair.* Full, valid driver's license (mandatory).* HGV license (advantageous but not essential).* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.* Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.If you are interested in this role, please contact Camila at Shorterm Group on / or email
