Position Details:

Location: Bethnal Green

Role: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Type: Full-time, term-time only

Daily Pay: £120

Trial Period: September

Start Date: 7th October

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects and year groups.

Student Support: Provide targeted assistance to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they remain engaged and make progress.

Teaching Assistance: Lead small group activities and interventions, helping students who need extra support to achieve their learning goals.

Behaviour Management: Implement and support strategies to maintain positive classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback to teachers and contributing to individualized learning plans.

Administrative Duties: Help with marking, recording, and tracking student progress, as well as preparing teaching materials and resources.

Covering Absences: Step in to cover classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining classroom standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

Qualification: Relevant HLTA qualification or significant experience as a teaching assistant.

Experience: Proven experience in a primary classroom setting with a solid understanding of primary education and the curriculum.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Adaptability: Flexible and capable of working effectively across different year groups and subjects.

Commitment: A genuine passion for education and supporting students' learning and development.
