The pro rata salary for part time is £18790.60 - £19090.26Hours: 8.15am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday - 32.5 hours a week with 30 minute unpaid lunch. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will:

• Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of Sulhamstead Abbots, Reading (W. Berkshire) pupils.
• Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
• Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement, working in a nurture intervention provision and across the schools.

As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will be working in all the Key stages timetabled from Year 1 - Year 6, depending on where the cover is required. Currently the primary in Sulhamstead Abbots, Reading (W. Berkshire) does need routine cover in Year 3.
