Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

• Daily Rate: £90 - £110 per day
• Location: Doncaster
• Job Type: part-time, full time.

I am currently seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work with me to support my lovely primary schools in Doncaster. I have fostered incredibly strong relationships with a wide number of schools across the area and I am looking to find individuals who can fit into a variety of school environments. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for education and a proven drive to contribute to student learning.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide classroom support to teachers across various primary school settings.
• Deliver small group sessions and occasionally lead whole-class learning under the direction of the class teacher.
• Support the development and implementation of individual education plans for students.
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and learning environments.
• Contribute to the assessment of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Adapt to different educational settings and work with a variety of age groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold proven HLTA qualifications recognised in UK schools or at least a level 3 TA qualification and HLTA experience.
• Demonstrable passion for education and a drive to make a difference in children’s learning experiences.
• Flexibility to work on a day-to-day supply basis, adapting to different school environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
