Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA)Location: DorsetSalary: £25,015.20 - £27,302.30 (FTE £29,120.00 - £31,782.40)Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Develop positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and engaged.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to foster their growth and development.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and ensure student welfare is a priority.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
• Experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Experience managing challenging behaviours and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
