Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Engage 2 : Job Details

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Required for Primary Schools based in Wakefield and surrounding areas.

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal school for you. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic higher level teaching assistant to work full time.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality HLTAs to work with us to positively impact the progress and attainment of the pupils. This role would really suit ECT/NQT's who are looking to gain further experience in the classroom.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Provide evidence of fulfilling the Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards and or ability and potential to fulfil them within the first 6 months of the role.
• Experience covering Primary classes across EY to KS2
• Evidence of specialism in specific curriculum areas or areas of particular learning difficulty
• Some experience of working with primary children or in a school
• A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
• Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
