Position Summary:We are in search of a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to become an integral part of this dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring all students receive the necessary support in their learning journeys.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to provide focused assistance to individuals and small groups, including those with special educational needs.
• Lead classroom activities and oversee the learning environment in the absence of the teacher.
• Aid in assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback and reports as needed.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters high standards of behaviour and active participation.
• Engage in professional development and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Essential Qualifications:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a school environment, preferably at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle due to the school's location.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
• First Aid certification.
