Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and supportive specialist school in Ormskirk. This is a full-time, long-term role, starting immediately, with the potential for permanency.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Leading small groups or whole-class sessions when required.
• Supporting students with additional needs to achieve their educational goals.
• Collaborating with teachers to assess and monitor student progress.
• Contributing to the development of tailored education plans.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs in a school setting.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A proactive and positive approach to challenges.
• A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
